The dogleg left par 5 third hole offers the golfer a good chance at par or birdie early in the round. The tee shot must be negotiated around a large oak tree with out of bounds down the left side. The more risk you take, the greater the reward. The second shot is to an uphill green that must carry a small hazard. The green slopes from back to front with a small sand bunker on the left and a grass bunker on the right, either makes for a difficult up and down.
