Rules and Regulations
General
Information:
The
Officers, the Board of Governors, the General Manager, and the employees wish
to make the Clubhouse a pleasant place for all members to enjoy within the
bounds of the Club Rules.
The
best way to do this is to acquaint yourself with all its activities and
participate in the ones which appeal most to you. Please familiarize yourself with and observe
these simple rules which are designed to help you enjoy your club.
These
rules are intended not to impose any undue restrictions and exist solely to
enable the membership to obtain the maximum benefit from our facilities.
Violators
of these rules may be penalized as provided by the By-Laws of the Club and as
recommended by the Board of Governors.
We do
not expect or desire any member to personally correct a fellow member who
may be violating a GVCC rule.
We do, however, ask and encourage members to report
violations of the rules and regulations to a member of the GVCC Management Team
or to a member of the GVCC Board of Governors as follows:
Upon witnessing an
infraction of the rules & regulations, members are asked to contact a
member of the GVCC Management Team and allow them to witness the situation
first hand.
If the above is not
possible, members are asked to present in writing to the Board of Governors or
GVCC Management Team, specific information which outlines the violation which
they witnessed such as: what rule was violated, date, time, where the
infraction took place, who was involved in the infraction and if willing, who
witnessed the violation.
The Board of Governors and\or GVCC Management Team
will take the appropriate measures as deemed plausible at that point in time.
The Board of Governors and GVCC Management Team will take every measure possible
to ensure the anonymity of the person reporting violations, however, members
are asked to understand that in certain situations this may be impossible to
achieve.

CLUB
POLICY ON ALCOHOL SERVICE: Appropriate
alcohol service is a matter of interest to all members of the Club who share a
mutual desire that such service be consistent not only with proper decorum but
also with the law. Therefore, this
policy has been established by the Club in a desire to benefit members, their
